Ok...gotta ask..What is "Ting"?

Used to be able to cure my Ting fix with Squirt...but no longer available to us locally...couple of years back we went on a Carnival cruise with 2-12 packs of squirt(sodas are permitted to bring on boat) and the guy checking us in the line said " I bet that makes a great mixer" ....should have searched us better for all the liquor we smuggled on....indeed it does make a good mixer, with vodka or rum

It's way better than squirt or fresca or any other citrus flavored soda. It is made with actual Jamaican grapefruit not artificial flavors.

"Ting" is also the patwa pronunciation of the word "thing" like every likkle ting gonna be all right.

I was told that the soda got the name "Ting" because people that make it couldn't decide on a better name after people kept asking for "one of dem tings". Maybe fact or fiction. You decide.

Thanks..it's why I first asked the question..kept seeing people talk about "Ting"..I was thinking they were talking about "something" but it wasn't making sense.. I will let everyone know if I like Ting as much as everyone here does after I try it.
