Really though? I didn't think Gerry's post was racist or misogynistic at all. He said nothing about skin color, and his statement was on behalf of the women that are left to struggle ??? I mean no disrespect, but I do think you're turning a blind eye to a very real problem in Jamaica, that Gerry pointed out, though not very gently i'll give you that.

Yeah sure if you want to nit-pick, it could be considered an unfair "blanket statement"... but c'mon I think we all know that he isn't referring to ALL Jamaican men. Just keeping it real. It's a freaking problem over there.

It's a cultural definition. Placing the attitude that one is superior to a woman. Found in lots of patriarchal society's, very common among cultural groups who think of women as there to please the men.
