My turn to rant....

It is foolish to think you have to be on your "A Game" all the time and quite frankly, I have seen many that make it just fine on their B, C or even D Game. Negril is an extremely safe place to vacation.

Rob, no way you have ever seen my "D" Game!! Then on second thought.... I don't remember????

Tourist the world over can be targeted or not. Read the metro section of your local newspaper for the weekend's police report. Stuff happens everywhere, not just in Negril. The vast majority of us have fond memories of our time in Negril.

Couldn't of said it better Rob!! I find what I've experienced or heard/read...has been many second/third/forth & so on stories. Been going to Negril since '88 & never ever had a break in/theft of any kind. Common sense applies when in your home area or vacationing it seems that simple. Now don't laugh but I've had 2 things taken from outside my home of 34 years this fall...that I just don't get...1 nice leaf rake & 1 fake owl that I hang by a piece of steel lamp chain...on the front of my garage to scare the birds away from pooping on my cars from the telephone/electrical wires that are over the driveway. This owl was hanging 15' up!! So the score in the theft dept is....home 2...Negril 0..in 26 years!!

It takes years of substantial interaction for someone to become a real friend. If you feel you have made a real friend on your first trip, that person is probably looking out for their own interests more than they are yours.
