well put Rob , We have been going to Negril almost every year since 1987 and except for 1 minor incident have never had a thift esp. from the resorts we have stayed. I think it is wise for most tourist , unless well experienced to stay off the beaten path of where most tourist stay. We feel that all the different rsorts we have stayed at on the beach and the cliffs are very safe and secure and I certainly hope that these incidents do not deter anybody following this board who is planning on checking Negril out. Yes things do change over years but most Jamaicans esp. in Negril are some of the most friendly and helpful ppl you could ever meet. We have been all over the Carribbean and we feel Jamaica has always been
the safest place we have been too.
