    Moonlight Villa

Just wanted some feedback from those that have stayed there. The only negative I am concerned with is not having a/c. I know it is on the cliffs, but it can get pretty hot in Ja. The property looks wonderful and all the reports I have read are positive.

Have stayed every February for last five years. No A/C needed. Will be back in a few weeks.

We stayed at Moonlight Villa for one night last year. The property is very beautiful and cozy and the rooms are so close to the water. If you are not a dog lover then it's probably not the place for you, there are a lot of dogs on the property. They are good watch dogs, but you will hear them bark. We were there in January and one night without a/c wasn't an issue for us. All of the bedding was a big scratchy, and I would probably pack my own sheets if we went back. So, like I said if you don't mind dogs it's a great, laid back place.

Heater sorry about the bedding it is difficult to find really good bedding at this end of the island. I have replaced it all recently since returning from Canada. As for the dogs yes there are 4 left. Unfortunately we had to put the big grey one down King Louie and well Zza Zza although still alive does not go downstairs anymore she will be 14 next month. Hope you will give us another try.Name: Xmas Time 2010 001.jpg

Jan24 not sure when you were planning on coming to Jamaica. The rooms are equipped with two fans a ceiling fan and standing fan. The breeze of the sea is normally enough.

I only stayed there one time in august, could have used ac, but would like to stay again some time soon. The rooms are big and comfortable, and the front porches are great!

I have not stayed there yet, but I have visited. Truly a nice resort with an awesome view! Having the dogs around is only a plus to me. Many blessings sent for King Louie. Having many canine family though my years....it is truly heartbreaking to lose a family member. Truly hope to stay at Moonlight Villa one day. Much respect sent.

    Debbie,
We really enjoyed the dogs and the noise from dogs is hard to avoid anywhere in Negril, expecially on the West End. As far as the sheets go, I get it. That's why I would be willing to bring my own just to stay at your charming place again. We really enjoyed our short time there and glad to know that you've upgraded the bedding! It's a special little spot for sure and we loved that our room was so close to the water.
