my 2 cents...u will be fine...sounds like u got some sense....I usually go to the music venues 3-4 times a week (alfreds, roots, bourbon) during our stay...passed flip on several occaions...lol....both with my wife and alone....and never taxied...most of the time, i walked the beach, and have only had one incident.....it was right outside of alfreds, one of the ganja dealers not wanting to take no for an answer....lasted about 30 secs, with a louder "I said NO THANKS"....some of the other "hustlers" who had seen me all week, sent him on his way....i feel safe on the beach, but that is just me....i always make friends with security at my place and take their advice....the road at night has alot of activity, as flip said, so more folks to watch out for you....
