Thanks Much Gary... or Steph!! LOL.. Hopefully we cross paths down there sometime! Amanda and I are down twice a year and are always staying in Negril when its just us.... I prefer to do it Local Style!! Fingers crossed I get my wedding wish... and again.. Much Prayers to the family of the departed. May the Lord ease their pain.

My name was given to me by the "West End O.G.s" ( old Gangstas) as I call them...... almost every morning I usually run 5-7 miles in Negril... through the West End mostly... and these guys ( Popsy... Steve.. and some others ) always talk to me and joke around... and they call me Runnin Mon... the nickname has stuck amongst some ( it's been like 8 years since that started) BUT my real name is Rob....

You certainly can't help the timing of your request and I think your response was extremely thoughtful and respectful. Best of luck on obtaining the specific watercraft you are seeking for the ceremony. Sounds like it will be quite the unique and memorable entrance! Hope you will post pics! I think it is a terrible tragedy what happened in Negril. I make my living as a professional racer and also teaching Personal Watercraft Racing and Recreational safety riding schools. I feel for the family of the tourist this happened to and they have my deepest condolences. I cannot however change the Timing of my Wedding there next week, and my need of a personal watercraft for the ceremony. I am trying to celebrate the happiest time of my life in a specific manner. So my apologies on the timing.

Runnin Mon - congratulations to you and your soon to be bride. We got married in Negril last month and we had an amazing day. What an awesome idea, an entrance on a jet ski!. Uber-cool.

Some of the jet skis look a bit 'battered' however, if you get chance, the smartest Yammie I've seen was in front of the Riu Club, Bloody Bay. I'm almost certain the guy who owns it is from Lucea (or very close). It might be worth you going to Jet Ski Negril (check out her website). Unsure if this is any help but I hope it is!.

Unfortunately, On our wedding day, the wind was too high and the ocean too rough to ride in, unless I wanted to be drenched for the wedding so I just danced my way to the altar! Other than that, the wedding was nothing short of marvelous and I believe I have made at least 30 guests into Jamaica addicts..... Sooooo mission accomplished!!! I will try and post some pics.... I have never had luck on here but I will try!!!

Did not find a vendor... connected with a person who would have rented me their personal unit considering the event.
