I have never stayed there but had a friend who lived there in the back so toured the rooms and hung out there for a few years. The owner is a sweetheart and the land has been in the family for a long time. The rooms in the front by the beach are basic and kept very clean. There are single cabin type rooms in the middle that have shared kitchen facilities that are not quite as nice as the hotel type ones by the beach

I stayed there late Dec. 2013 in a room in the back with a non-shared kitchen - it was clean and nice. The owner is great and the staff is also. Wanted to peek at the rooms by the beach but they were all occupied at the time. From talking to folks there it seems to have a large repeat clientele.

We stayed there a few years ago in the front rooms by the beach. Ann-Deta is a sweetheart, the other guests were long time
repeat visitors and all very friendly. The housekeeper who's name escapes me had been there for a lot of years, and had some great chats with her. My only complaint was that some of the young boys/men that hung in front selling stuff that I had no interest in, would come and hang on the porch with other guests. It made me a little uncomfortable at first, but it ended up being ok.
