Good question. They were getting married at Grand Palladium in Lucea.
great news news I was bout to explain my Jetski paradox. I enjopy snorkling off the beach and usually if I am outside the ropes its not very far , but here is the pardox, when I,m out there and i hear one i always stand up and make myself as visable as possible, Problem with that is now they think I want to rent so here they come closer every time unless its someone whos finally sick of me saying hell no lol. Its always the Jamaicans who are renting them that are in close like that, I have seen plenty of idiot tourist on em but they are ususally way out unless they are coming back in to the beach where they left from. I think they should not solicit to ppl out swimming and just solicit on the beach , because as someone said earlier that when they are out there trying to drum up business they are usually not looking forward. I think it could help a bit but certainly needs a permanant solution. As much as i hate those things I know alot of ppl like to ride em and not all are idiots and I certainly don't want to see the Jamaicans loose their livelyhood . I think now they will take a good look at inhancing some regulations that may help make it safer, at least I hope so, Well thats my 2 cents and if we dont get stranded tomm do to that storm moving into Chicago tomm we should be there Sunday.
Good news! It's sad that someone had to die before anything was done, but hopefully the ban will become permanent and that will be the last death caused by the JetSkis in Negril.
All quiet on the beach now but it's early.
Informative on-site reporting, Yvonne; thanks!
I understand and have witnessed how some of the jet skis operate in Negril. I do think they have to find a happy medium to resolve the problem though. This is also the lively hood for some folks!
