What's your average day in Jamaica?

We will hear the guard turn off the lights out side. Then we now it is time to get up even if we just went to bed. Get up roll about 15 splifs and wait for my coffee. Then we go out to the beach to look for coral that we collect and talk to some our friends. Then we get the dice out and play farkel we like to keep a running total as to how many games each of us win because for one its all about bragging rights and winner gets choice ill leave that thought up to your imagination. Go back and get our towels for the chairs because this is going to be commmand center for our daily thoughts about our 2 decisions for the day what and where we want to eat. Get a thought and grab a hun and start walking and see where it leads us .Thats why we never say what time is lunch or dinner because we dont know what shape we will be in. Then in the evening we start at the Treehouse bar then back to the porch and party on.Unless we get a real bright ideal about doing something else we end the night there with alot of bull being thrown around amoungst friends. Then repeat this all over again.

the wife and I have 2 different ideas of how we enjoy our holiday away from the grind of life...I want to party and meet as many like minded people as I can. I like the crowds, I like to people watch, I LOVE to walk the beach and take in all the sights, soounds, smells, and people it has to offer...i enjoy hanging and meeting both tourists and locals alike ..Janet likes to relax, enjoy the smae sights, sounds, etc, all from either her chair or from the bar...she could sit at the same bar ALL day...the great thing about Negril is that it offers something for everyone...and she is GRADUALLY coming over to my side....

my day starts any where from 6-8 am, depending how late i was up....get my roll on, and head to the beach to start the day, either on the lounger or a walk down the beach...this is where i reflect on yesterdays adventure, and make a TENTATIVE game plan for the day...i have a calendar of our days from home with the different options for each day, (wheere the webcasts, bands, happy hours, excursions, moving days,etc are for that day) but we rarely stick to our plans....there are places we have planned on eating at for the last 3 trips, Chicken Lavish and Swordfish, that we still havent made it too yet....
anyway, my morning ritual takes about an hour or so...i grab Janet some coffee, head to the room and wake her up.

after that, usually lounge, people watch, not much at all until it is time to eat...i make a run for whatever we decide for lunch, while she just lounges...after lunch, we do the beach crawl thing.....we mix in dips in the sea and pool all day, of course...this takes us to sunset, then get ready for supper....we usually hit a show at night about every other night....

Wake up, coffee, wake up properly, shower, wake up REALLY properly, eat fruit, hit beach, drink & smoke (repeatedly), fall off lounger, crawl, drink & smoke, eat Jerk chicken, sleep, shower, drink, smoke, eat, drink, smoke, wobble, bed!
REPEAT!

Wake up about 7, make coffee. Drink coffee, read for an hour on the balcony. A little yoga in the room, bathing suit and sunscreen, then walk the road or beach for an hour for exercise. Grab a lounger, more coffee and my kindle and head to the beach where Carl or John-O has set up a lounger for me. Fruit for breakfast, an occasionally swim to cool off, then walk the beach in the other direction. Lunch is a patty, more sun, maybe play on the floaties at Margaritaville. Four o'clock means happy hour in the room- two drinks and a cigarette for the hubs, then think about dinner for a while. After dinner, done drinking so head back to the room for a nap if there's a late concert. Get back up around 11:00, get dressed, head out for a while, then back to bed.
