Wow. This makes me so sad. I had the great honor of meeting him one night at Roots Bamboo just before he took the stage. What charisma. I will never forget the energy I felt. He was an amazing talent and will be terribly missed. My sincere condolences to his family and many friends.

So very sad. Third World was one of my first reggae concerts (1985). RIP William "Bunny Ruggs" Clarke.

Bob Marley and the Wailers was my first reggae concert in 1976 and then Peter Tosh in 1983 both in the US but in Jamaica in 1988 I had the pleasure of seeing Third World and Garnett Silk in their hometown of Mandeville.

It was a life changing moment in time. May Bunny and Garnett make beautiful music wherever the are!

Garnett and Bunny were both incredible singers. I saw a video once of Third World at a Great House in Jamaica. Trying to remember what that was. Would love to watch it again. Mystical aura to it. Wish I could remember it. Can't find it online anywhere.

The Spirit Lives, one of my favorites, from the 2010 Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival.

Jam all the way to Zion, Bunny Rugs. Jah knows the spirit lives. Jah know it will never die.
