    Bloody bay amenities

    Good day,

Just looking for info on convience store / bars/cheap beer that can be had around the area of the RIU club hotel on bloody bay.(or any other good info that I have forgotten )

Don't want to travel too far if I get a hankering for something(rum cream)

    Thanks

Bloody Bay really doesn't have a lot in terms of stores and such. Because most of the resorts are all inclusive. There is a rustic area called Office of the Nature that is kind of cool but not really a commercial place. Your best bet is to catch a short ride down Norman Manley if you are looking at going to a store or whatever.

    Where are you staying?

There are actually two spots on Bloody Bay you can walk to. Both are called the Office of Nature (the group of guys split up and both using the name). Both rustic, but you can get a beer, or rum.

If you want a store, The PetCom gas station is your best bet if you don't want to go that far. They have beer, rum cream, wine, and lots of snacks. Its a good size so lots there for your room.

Otherwise, you need to come into Negril a little further to get to any true bars...off the top of my head...Cosmo's is one of the first places, then lots more as you head down the road.

I do suggest you take an afternoon to walk the beach in Negril proper. You can take a taxi to Sunbeach...great bar and you can start walking the beach in either direction from there and stop along the way...one of my favourite pastimes!

Not sure if The Club Riu is the one closer to Sunset at the Palms or not... but if it is go over to the other side of the street where you will find a good buddy of mine (Randy Haughton) John Wayne Tours. He will take you where ever you like for a decent price and safely I may add.
