Since we have determined that Otis Gayle was playing there at least three weeks ago and that the chances are pretty good that he is still playing there for the afternoon sessions which are usually on Fridays beginning around 2:00, here's a link to an article about Otis from the Jamaica Gleaner.

Otis was playing at the Boat Bar this past Friday with his great trumpet player -- long timer but forgot his name. Great scene. Otis also plays Charela every Thursday night.

Started Wednesdays as well! The sign said 3-8, but when we showed up at 6 they were just ending. Not sure exactly who was playing.

Cool. I remember one trip they were playing Wednesday and Friday. That was a first week in March trip. They must do two days per week during the high season timeframe. It's basically a chill and watch the sunset kind of event. Love it! Thanks Kiknback for the update, for the pic, and for the details about it ending around 6:00.
