. Yes girl on the back of scooter....she tried riding one last year in the Dominican Republic and it didn't work out. You can actually hold up to 4 people on them but when I tried that a fey years ago I blew a tire and crashed.
The roads to little bay are fine, prolly the worse part of it is the payment and potholes from the negril gas station out to the golf course. The route over orange hill is wonderful but have someone draw you a map. Some of the locals up there can be a little odd...hailing you to stop or yelling crap at you.....just keep riding by if you don't feel comfortable. The other way is on the road to Sav, ask where the race way is and when you come to the final y in the road turn right. Everyone down that way is very friendly if you get lost. You could also hire a bike route taxi guy from the Sav road turn off onto the marl rd to escort you down.
DB Farms is a small produce and goat farm owned by a lady from Maine who married a JA farmer. Call ahead and farmer Barry can give you a tour. It's cool walking around looking at the baby goats, the baby donkey and the other animals. Barry farms all sorts of stuff including some GIANT yams. If you are into animals or growing veggies it will be lots of fun. Contact Debbie at 470-0418
Also while you are down there check out the rat bat cave by the school, Marleys mineral pool...all sorts of things. Ask for Boot or call him at 416-2292 for tours down there.
Not sure about half moon beach, think that is the one I went to that wanted an entrance fee. Might head over to Percy's Riverside retreat today if the weather holds up. Google Percy's, it's a nice little scooter ride heading back toward Mobay and only maybe a mile off of the main highway.
