no gate at the front of the property by the street. No security guards - but I must say I never felt unsafe. There is security at Merrills and Grandpineapple on either side.
It is like family there and we were treated the same. Small property with owners and family on site. Everyone staying there other than us were repeat visitors. I would not hesitate to recommend it. The only reason I would not go back was the lack of a restaurant and or bar. At night I missed having that if I didn't feel like leaving.
Mamade11 thanks for the info. made plans to stay there this week without any info. Pretty much what I thought , and thats OK.
Actually, they've beefed up the front fence and replaced the wooden gate with steel, and added locking gates at the road side, so it's more secure at night. Also this year somebody seemed always to be up at night to keep watch.
