Canoe club for dinner...met Rob and Lisa and Month and his wife (didn't right down your name but I'll just ask you again).. Was nice to meet them. Brought Lisa a taste of home (Spitz) Prairie people will know that know... We sat in the corner close to the steel band and they were great. Talked to Gracin and Pebo in the band. Super nice. We had to wait around two hours for our food..patience, patience...do I danced .

When we got back my husband and I checked out Jungle but unfortunately I got sick do we had to leave..no..not too much booze..just and old ailment reading it's ugly head...all good..
Two hours to get your food at Canoe?? Say it ain't so. My friends and I waited nearly three hours on New Years Eve 2012. It was faster this past December but the dish I picked was by far my worst meal on the trip. I do not understand the raves this place get as the only thing I have enjoyed there are their French fries.

hence why I think I will never eat there again, but I do see they have a new chef. It is a good spot to have a cold beer during the day.

Concur totally. I never wanted to say anything bad about Canoe because they're so board-friendly, but I have had at least two of worst dining experiences ever there -- a considerable distinction considering I take meals so seriously in Negril.

I've also been harassed by local higglers inside the walls of the place.

I concur with that Booger, of all the food I've ever ordered in Jamaica since "82, that place was the longest I've waited for. Well over 2hrs for 2 grilled chicken breast sandwiches. Without any apologies from wait staff.

Day 3 - Valentines day..never been a big celebratory of Valentines day but we are in the tropics and it just seems more fun...what am I saying!?!?! It IS more fun! Beach time as per usual....starting to get mixed up..tent is set up. It's been a big hit! I honestly don't know what I would do without it..outside the gate here there isn't much shade at all. I've had so many people coming up and asking me about it. Being in the shade means I don't get as tired as the rest of my crew either .

Today met Newfie Girl and her husband..I tell you..being on this board is great! I tell everyone about it. Hard when you try and remember what you did a couple of days ago ..chatted with Richard. He's right beside us and sells tours. He is very sweet.

Pub Crawl time! Lambert was a little late in picking us up and man! Was I hot! For some reason I am not adjusting to the humidity. Probably cause we have the AC on in the room but without a balcony it and big doors to open it just gets so hot in there. Anyway...where was I...the six of us hop on the bus. Dailey subdued crowd. We were all wearing red attire..shirts..ties..sunglasses ..stickers...stuff..loading pics takes too long right now...will download later. Name: image.jpg

To be continued..gotta go grab some breakfast at Montana's
