We were at Hedo a couple of weeks ago. As greggandkelly63 wrote: “there are a lot of misconceptions about hedo”. A big one is: “it’s a lifestylers resort”. While we were there we didn’t witness any orgies or multi-player sex games. Yes there were some displays of public affection and some action in the hot tub after 10pm, but really nothing over the top. The prude side is now listed as clothing optional and of course the nude beach and pool is where most people hang out (pun intended).

The theme nights are a lot of fun and range from seeing/wearing wickedly sexy clothing to just casual wear. A lot of people go all out on these nights and it’s a lot of fun to see, and participate in. The entertainment is always good, there are games every day and the piano bar is the place to be between 9pm and 11pm. There are multiple music venues every night from the piano bar, entertainment on stage, the Disco and beach parties. They have bands and DJ’s playing until 1 or 2am every morning.

Hedo is a sexually charged environment but surprisingly IMO not a lot of sex happening out in the open. It’s the greatest place to go if you want to party naked all day (and night if you choose).” If you like licking rum cream off a favourite body part, you’ll love hedo”. Every day there are multiple events going on and you’re hard pressed not to find a bar within stumbling distance.
You meet all kinds of likeminded people from labourers to lawyers and a lot of times you don’t know or care what people do for a living. Nudity has an incredible way of levelling the social arena. Yeah there are all shapes and sizes there, but that’s what makes the place so interesting and fun! Average age when we were there would be between 40 and 60.

We walked through Sandals resort, we saw very few smiles on people’s faces, it was like the place shut down at 9 o’clock at night. “BORING”…
For us other than staying down in Negril we wouldn’t stay any other place other than at Hedo while in Negril.
