I use my T-Mobile phone in Jamaica every year, but I had to call T-Mobile to request an unlock code. Once I had the code, I unlocked my phone, which allows it to use a Digicell Sim Card. All of my contacts remain on my phone, but I buy a Digicell Sim card and keep adding minutes as I need them. T Mobile now offers cheap calling back to the states with free texting. We have gotten good reception in MoBay and Negril but NO reception in Treasure Beach. T Mobile people - please let me know your cell reception experiences in Jamaica.
