Sometimes what appears to be a nice sunny day can change quickly! I hung around the villa in the morning listening to music, and swingin in the hammock, alittle lunch, I decide to walk down and register for the race, but then came the rain!

After the rain lets up I head out down the road dodging the small lakes left behind from the downpour that just happened to couples for the race package pickup.

I am not sure, but I believe I route taxied it to town and started a walk up the westend road? Should never wait so long after a trip to post this stuff, but never found any time since then?

OK, so this is Marcus, some of you may know as the soup guy! That he is, he has a little shop right across from Canoe, great guy, has cold beer and a little yard out back to chill in, real rustic if you like that kinda thing.

I had made a quick stop up Alaska drive to say "hey" to Trevor and on the way back down I met the guy who owns the old Yaught Club at this time they had just started construction, which is still on going. I did question him about the soid painted on the wall, I still want to get a can of black spray paint and fix it!

The soup was a good appetizer, but the beer battered fish and chips at Sunset After Dark would be dinner tonight!
