The last arrest in Jamaica? That is where the 2 million visitors came so your answer would be today. There have already been arrests made today in Jamaica.

And I didnt answer your question about setting private vigilante style guards on the Long Bay beach because I didnt think you could possibly be serious. There are already many more than 4 "guards" on the beach with both the police and the government hired "courtesy cops" that patrol the beach already. They are the ones in the white pith style hats. And that is in addition to the private security guards that are required at each of the hotel properties on the island.

I do not know how you do not see them. At the Cafe Goa webcasts we do for Sunday Brunch you will see at least a half dozen walk by and be caught on our live camera. Some even wave and smile at the camera. Join us and and watch it sometime. It may be enlightening.

You never said to hire 4 cops. You are saying to hire 4 private guards to walk the beach that will have no legal arrest powers, no legal powers to detain, no legal right to carry a gun, in otherwords - just 4 people to walk the entire length of our Seven Mile Beach. Yes, that will make such a great difference...

There are already police patrolling the beach both day and night. Anyone who has been to a late night show on the beach has seen them.

Security guards are already required by law at all licensed hotel properties. And I think you are disregarding a few facts about Coco that are posted in another thread here that you started!

I saw police everyday on the beach the week we were there.
Walking the beach at night I also saw security guards at most resorts. I even stopped and talked with a few.
Lots of people were walking the beach at night. It didn't feel unsafe.
Besides, were I live, we don't call the cops...
