I'd probably take a chance with the expired stuff, unless it expired a looong time ago.

Just a thought for your friends in Negril right now... drink fluids..could be dehydration. Room temp 7-Up (or Sprite) with soda crackers... Sometimes it's not a bug.... again, based on experience.

Expired in 2009 LOL...think I'll buy some fresh stuff. My friend is still not feeling normal....what a way to ruin a trip! Not taking any chances

Doing some final packing and trying to lighten the load. Was wondering...can you buy stuff like Immodium, Kaopectate or Pepto Bismol in Negril if needed. Always buy the stuff at home and pack it and it just usually expires cause I never seem to need it. Hate tempting fate by not packing it though....

Rob is right, most pharmacies carry these products. You may want to sip some ginger tea, that always settles my tummy

Hey Dana, a few years ago our daughter got Salmonella/e-coli. This was told to us via our local health unit upon our return home. Anyways, while feeling really terrible we stopped at a little shop just across the road from Sun Beach bar. They have packets similar to Alka Seltzer and it did the trick. We were told to purchase this by a friendly Jamaican man on the beach. Also, a cook made up a tea of ginger and chicken broth and she was feeling so much better.

I used to get a product in akumal Mexico called bactrim,believe its a antibiotic,one dose usually clears up any symptoms,my guess is you could get that in negril from a pharmacy,go to the right one and it will probably be over the counter,I brought a supply down to cabo for my brothers wedding about 40 people came down,by the 3rd or fourth day I was handing em out like m,n,ms
