Just a guess but I would think anything imported as a PWC (personal water craft)

Not being a jet ski fan or rider; I can only post my own feelings on this. Hooray!
It just doesn't fit with Jamaica's image anyway.

Dconkle.. Personal Watercraft is the actual correct term... Jet Ski is Kawasaki's brand name.. Yamaha's is Waverunner, and Bombardier's is Sea-Doo. It 's like calling a reprographic machine ( copier) a Xerox.....

One less hustler to deal with. Don't even think I have walked past a jetski hustler who wasn't trying to sell me drugs either. Hope they legalize weed too so that I do not have to deal with that hustle. That leaves blow and pimp hustlers left.

It is really nice not having the jet skis on the water. Many people have commented on how nice it is. You wouldn't believe how much it changes the feel of a walk on the beach.
I like it and I'm all for it.

I loved the new vibe on the beach. Hope they find a good compromise. Maybe have a jet ski centre where they offer "safaris" or trail rides and way off shore riding.
