Your intel is flawed. Those two young men did not get swept in at the cove, it was to the left of it as you are looking out to the ocean.

O/K,stand corrected,but the point is that in the cove area it is Very hazardous. When I go in there the 1st thing I do is swim out. But coming back in you have to "time" the waves to get onto the ladder. If you snorkel there,look underwater at the walls. TONS of urchins in the walls.

again it depends on the day...jumped at catcha when the cove and the area to the left were both very calm and easy to get out of....also two days later, different story...and the urchins are everywhere for sure...
