I have been going to Negril since 1987 and used to be real active on the negril.com board years ago. It has been around 12 years since I have been down there and this my first trip by myself. Can anyone recommend any beach hotels (on the beach) that have great single rates for 3 nights? Thanks!

Personally, I like the location as it is close to the roundabout and stores in easy walking distance.

Whitesands is a great place
Whitesands is affordable but not local-friendly, and that could be an issue for singles.
Rondell hands down
Rondel is MUCH more expensive than the more economical properties.
Actually, I am awaiting a reply from White Sands as I have stayed there before. My wife would come down but she is on a mission trip with church so not bringing in any guests.White Sands was the first place I stayed with my wife. I knew a friend of Mr. Moo Young's daughter (I think Christine) from school who sent us there. I am curious to see what has changed in 12 years or so in Negril.
I probably should have said "solo traveler" as opposed to "single traveler"
Since you are a veteran Negril traveler I think you will like Barrys, part of what use to be Glorias Sunset.
