Gas is a tough negotiator. When we stayed at Home Sweet Home a few trips ago, He would call out to me every day as the entrance to our room overlooked his property. Finally, I stopped by his shop one day since my wife wanted to pick-up a couple beach towels (he sells crafts & souvenirs, in addition to scooter rentals). Rather than come down on the price on the towels - which I felt was high - he would just offer to throw-in some other items that I didn't want, such has a half-finished wood carvings.
