Hey D - Gonna miss you by just a couple days at Treehouse - we leave on the 19th. I am a repeat customer that would have a hard time staying anywhere else because of Gail's wonderful staff. Shout out to Buddha (houseman) who's awesome smile and hard work always make our trips special. In answer to your question, I have never needed any additional utensils other than the ones provided which were forks/spoons/knives. I'm sure that if you needed something in addition (real sharp knife, etc.) the great guys in the kitchen will loan you one. They aim to please at every level at Treehouse. We will be there starting April 9th and wish we'd still be there on the 22nd! We always meet the nicest people there. This year, a couple that my girl trip group met last April are meeting us there again this year!
Hope you will be around Gail (from treehouse)! Hope to have a drink and dance at the reception party with you! I don't want to have to give a review that says "Didn't meet Gail" as one of my complaints! LOL
Speaking of Gail, I think it is so wonderful how she (and Treehouse) do so many things for the local community. Every time I look they are collecting/distributing shoes, buying beans, helping someone in need, etc. Kudos to you. I know that she/they don't do it for the recognition but just thought since we are talking about Treehouse I would mention what wonderful things they are always doing for the less fortunate. I will be making a donation for beans in April! Put me down - 2 bags from MmTrip from San Diego.
Sorry about the hi-jack - in conclusion - I would lighten your load with the utensils (unless you can't live without a fancy garlic crusher!). They'll make you feel at home there and find you what you need to make this your best trip ever.
