Personally, my favorite is bacon, eggs, callaloo and dumplings cooked by the staff and served to us on the deck of the owner's villa at Nirvana, looking at the sea, with fresh squeezed OJ and JBM coffee. Love coming back from my morning stroll on the beach and smelling all that good stuff.
We find that we just don't want to spend time waiting for food in a restaurant at that time of day.
Firefly pancakes w/ banana topping
Coletta's, Sweet Spot, Montana's.....all very good, very inexpensive and very Jamaican. Coletta's is my favorite of the 3. Always a lot of locals in there. All three are right across the street in the vicinity of Rooms and Fun Holiday. Enjoy!
I usually have breakfast at CCLP (because of the banana bread), but my favorite place for breakfast is probably Pee Wee's on the west end. Elvis is a great cook!
I was in Negril in November and eat breakfast daily at Pablo's across from Samsara. It was DE LISH and very reasonable about 5-6 us dollars. It was some of the best ackee/salt fish and calaloo I have had. We are going back in April and can't wait to eat there againbut will try some of the other places mentioned.
In Negril in first week of Feb, had 3 breakfasts at Sipsnbites. (Jamaican breakfast) very good. Our last day Saturday, sips is closed. We went to Pee Wees they don't serve Jamaican breakfast so cook told us to go to Pablo's. $480j for Jamaican breakfast with tea or coffee. It was excellent. My wife commented that it was the best ackee/salt fish she had, I agree.
Best breakfast in Negril to us was Catcha. Best coffee I have ever had and that view with your breakfast and the peaceful sounds is priceless.
Our favorite breakfast spot is Jenny's in the West End, great food and great value.
