Snorkeling related question
Family trip. We are kinda rookie snorklers. Last time we got a day pass at beaches and went on one of their trips. Very short trip. This time thought we would go on our own. Don't want to go with a group. Need to find someone who will have masks ,fins etc. suggestions? Also what would you guess for cost for a couple hours?
Thanks

Re: Snorkeling related question
Famous Vincent Elvira Glass Bottom Tours (876) 473-6910. Call him or hang out on the cliffs at Xtabi, Pee Wees, or Blue Castle and he will pick you up with equipment and knowledge of the reef and marine life. Rookies or not, he will keep you safe and go in the sea with you to show and explain what lives where and again keep you safe and keep the coral reef safe-do not touch! The three properties mentioned have no problem with you hanging out there waiting on Vincent to cruise by (or call him) as long as you purchase beverages or a meal (better yet, tour the property for a stay there your next trip and become a cliff dweller).

Re: Snorkeling related question
$20US per person plus tip for several hours, and ask him to cruise along the cliffs for a scenic boat tour on the cliffs. Always better to see the properties and sights from the sea. (IMO)

Thanks for the info. We stayed at blue cave the last trip but will be at rooms this trip. Assume I can call famous Vincent and he would come by there to pick us up?

Re: Snorkeling related question
We went out last week with Captain Roger on the SunBaby glass bottom boat. Very affordable and will pick you up wherever you are. We were rookies too but it didn't matter with Roger and Kirk, they showed us everything and we even got to hold a handful of creatures.
The length of the tour was undetermined and they were not rushing us at all. They were having just as much fun as us out there which makes it a cool friendly vibe. Also I think Kirk could be a professional ocean photographer. We gave him our underwater camera and the shots he got were unbelievable. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. A really good value. The ph# is 876-430-1868
