    Appleton Rum Tour/Black River

    Hi everyone! (again)

Considering I am travelling with a local who has a vehicle I'm not going to be booking tours but rather just driving to them myself and paying when I get there. I was wondering has anyone done this ? Does anyone know how much it is per person if you just show up to the Appleton Rum Estate for a tour without a tour group? Also the same question to get a trip down the Black River ? I know that there are people on either side of the river that we can just walk up to but does anyone know how much it is?

    Thanks for the help!!

Manda...not positive on the current entry price for the Appleton Rum tour...but it should be around $20-25.00us p/p.
The black river boat ride is $15.00us p/p.

There's also an optional lunch at Appleton Rum. I think it's about 15 dollars extra, but it's really quite good.

Great!! I'm really loving the fact that I'm able to get to see all these great things at a much smaller charge than what the tours are going for from what I've seen now I know the prices you said were in USD I wont have any because 1 I'm coming from Canada and 2. I planned on using JDM, should I for these excursions get some USD as well to bring?

We drove out to Appleton and found the tour group was pretty old(in years only im sure)....so we skipped the tour went right to rum room where the tour finishes and the bartender loaded us up with free shots and more shots....Perrfect time for us. Im not easiy entertained and the tour looked a bit SLOW for me. I'll be in Negril tomorrow at noon. Almost time for a drink
