Cash
I give cash and other stuff. The school kids wear black and navy socks. I brought wedding glasses, pony tail holders, glow sticks, candy, plastic zip lock bags were a hit...left a toaster, kettle, some cutlery. When I asked Donna our housekeeper at The Rondel about peanut butter she said she loved it! She was so sweet...she said we appreciate whatever you give and I can always find someone who will need it.. I like to give gifts as well as cash. I also leave notes thanking them for taking care of our room and always try and find out their names.
"When I feel like dancing, I dance. I don't care if anyone else is dancing or if everyone is laughing at me.. I dance.."
Be like Oprah and give everyone a new car.
Tip daily on the bed. I have been to our housekeepers home. Believe me she has all the shampoos and conditioners she will ever use. CASH is what is really needed. Electricity is high, water cost, school for kids, taxi to work, food on the table........you get the idea~~CASH.
"I'll love you till the stars fall out of the sky "
:cool
Daily for housekeeping, I put 5 Hershey miniature chocolates in a little bag along with a thank you note and cash tip (600J/day) They are so appreciative of the goodies and the cash that I never run low on towels and my room is sparkling clean. Midway my stay, I give female security a small bottle of body mist plus (1,000J) tip. Males get a baseball cap plus the same cash tip. Tip the hotel waiter/waitress (200J) daily. If I eat outside the hotel I tip 20% of my bill.
A little gift is nice, but cash is much appreciated and needed in any situation.
I hit up dollar tree and get gifts. Plus I leave tips.
