check luggage or carry on?

So for those of you doing carry on only, what do you do for sunscreen? With four of us for 9-10 days, it takes up 1/2 a suitcase.

I just buy it there if what I bring isn't enough. But i can bring 2-3 3oz bottles in my carry-on and still fit the other liquids I need.

Maybe I'll check bag on the way and carry on for trip home. No way I can fit all the liquids in one ziplock bag.

Baggage claim in Jamaica is about 20 times faster than the states. It's amazingly fast, actually... Jamaicans need to come show philly how it is done.

If you have to pay to check a bag ($25?) it may be cheaper to buy more/larger liquids in Jamaica.
