Thanks for all your help at St. Anthony's Kitchen. I am sure it was eye opening and lots of fun. As for the picture of the child maybe she fell asleep cause her belly was full. Also trust me I am at the Kitchen a lot and everyone asks if it is okay to take pictures. You are both a blessing and happy to have met you. See you next year until then stay warm.

I am crushed! I thought I was the best 50/50 sales person at the Donkey Races and now I find out I am #2. It's okay though, it's Lent and I will just add this to my penitential works. A big thanks to Andy and Maggie for their work at the Kitchen. They spent a lot of time there. AND, Andy did something that was absolutely incredible--he got Ms. Pearl (the grand pupa, big enchilada, matriarch and empress of the Kitchen) to give up her throne dishing out rice. ANDY SAT IN MS. PEARL'S CHAIR! AND, she rubbed his bald head to a brilliant shine after he assume her throne. Sadly, I cannot figure out how to attach a photo to this reply (and have spent about 1/2 hour trying to do so and have deleted this message twice in the attempt) in which the shinning takes place an a picture is worth a 1000 words. Nothing but AWESOME! Thanks Andy and Maggie for your generous support oft he Kitchen--and for the help at the Rotary Donkey Races. --Fadder Jim

P.S. Might have figure out the picture thing!

Respect. We do our best to give back every trip as well, usually with animals, however the time and effort you put into this is awesome!! You rock you two....

Jitters, how do you know it's not a daughter of a volunteer bored to death at Mom's work? My Mom drug my a$$ to work all the time when I was little, and I'm sure I looked just like that. Your comment was rather harsh and would be more appropriate if a picture of a famished child was posted.

Hahaha, this is so funny I started reading this thread from the bottom and when I saw the photo I thought WOW, she let the volunteers serve the rice ?!!?? Then I read your comments

M&G had arranged our outing and had me bring Shakey with me from Seastar. We picked up M&G along the way and I was present to witness Andy sitting in "the" chair dishing out the rice.
Shakey enjoys showing everyone his photos of all his Friends!
Next year when I come down I'll bring along a copy of this one to add to his stash of photos
