I wanted to take this opportunity to invite you to our annual fundraiser for NEET on Tuesday March 11th at 11 am at Travellers Beach Resort.
For those that are unaware NEET, Negril Education Environment Trust, is a non-profit organization based at Travellers. In the last 10 years NEET has been able to donate over 3 million books and 2000 computers throughout Jamaica. NEET has also graduated over 2000 students from it's adult computer literacy program which is currently being taught in the computer lab at Travellers free of cost.
In addition NEET has been able to build 18 libraries and computer labs. This was made possible through it's buy a brick program that will take place at the annual culture day on Tuesday. Visitors will have an opportunity to buy "bricks" or cinder blocks for at least a $500 J donation and paint their names on them. These blocks will then go towards building a library at a local school. There will also be cultural performances by 6 local schools as well as other local performers.
I encourage anyone is able to come to join. It is a great cultural event that exemplifies the best of Jamaica's culture and young talent. I hope to see many of you on Tuesday at 11 am at Travellers.

Great Day! A really BIG UP to Winston Wellington for all he does in the surrounding community for the education and wellbeing of our children. His efforts on their behalf is profound! God bless him and keep him at it! --Fadder Jim
Thanks for reaching out. We ask for a minimum donation of $5 US to purchase and paint your name on a brick. They are indeed available year round. The next date for cultural day is the 17th of March. Thank you for your interest.
