Understand that this is from the same person who thought finding a "sub" in your shirt pocket was finding a submarine sandwich in you pocket, and could not see the point of a place that had Topless Car Rentals - the girls are topless when you rent the car? Got it now, guys! I'm good.

Rob is gonna cry on his keyboard now (and petition that I not be allowed to use a computer without supervision), but I don't get the difference between posting here, on the "message board" versus the Blog option?

The Negril Message Board is where most of the action takes place as far as comments and questions, and that is what it was designed for before the concept of a "weblog" or "blog" existed back in 1997. A weblog or blog is essentially a more personal area that people post their personal comments and feelings, similar to a journal or diary - a kind of "what I did today" thing. It is included with the Board software simply as a service.

There are also Groups and Albums that can be created as well under the Community link. The Album section has some folks posting their photos as an album. The Group section tends to be more exclusionary by its very nature (being or not being part of a any "group") and can lead to cliques and an "us vs. them" kind of mentality. I think we all remember high school.... (grin)

But the Board gets the most activity by far as it has been since 1997!
