Club MoBay - Good idea or no?

Supposedly facilliate getting you through the airports, give you a lounge with free food and drinks, coordinate with your driver, etc, etc.

    I think it's like $30.

Sounds like it would be useful. Do you think it's worth it?

$30 is just for the departure service, you can buy it on the spot if the lines look long, they will try to charge you more, but it's negotiable. It won't let you bypass the airline lines to check in luggage, which is usually the big bottleneck.
If you have a long wait once you're through security, the lounge is a nice place to spend time, the food is not very good though.
The arrival service is $50 more and can save you hours if the lines to get in are long, but it has to be purchased ahead of time. Many threads here, search is your friend.

I used it once, loved it..... When traveling with family, would be too expensive, but when traveling single, what the heck, an enjoyable luxury...

I haven't used it upon arrival in MoBay; we travel in April and have never had too much of a wait. We did, however, use it last year for our departure. The lines in security weren't long, so it didn't save us any time there, but we wanted to check out the lounge and we felt we had enough time to get our money's worth. We really enjoyed it. The snacks were decent and the open bar was nice. There were lots of little couches and areas to relax, so if you had a long wait until your flight it would be worth it. I'd do it again, but only if I had enough time to enjoy it.

For our upcoming trip, I'll make my decision once we arrive at the airport to head home. I wouldn't want to pre-book it and then get stuck in traffic on the way to the airport. There's always the restaurant in the terminal to grab one last Red Stripe and something to eat if necessary!

Good deal. They watched my luggage. Did some shopping. Came back. Had several rum punches. Got something to eat. Layed down on a couch. Watched golf. Took a nap. Got up. Made 3 free phone calls to the states. Had another rum punch. Then they gave me a bottle of water for my flight. Excellent service. 2 beers and a beef pattie at the food court would be 15 bucks....I would not spend the money on the arrival service as I usually have an itinerary upon landing..

We've done it round trip twice now,as luck would have it,both time on arrival it saved us zero time as it wasn't busy when we got in,it's nice outbound but....we're always trying to get our ride to pick us up last minuite so we don't end up having that much time in the lounge, either leave an hour or so earlier than you normally would or skip and grab some food and drink at margarita ville or where ever, my opinion peace, have fun be safe

I have used it for arrival and departure and will be doing it in another few weeks. Our arrival last March was wellllll worth it. The line up for immigration went up the ramp and around the corner. About an 1.5 hour wait. We walked right by them all to the immigration officer dedicated to the VIP service. We were at the baggage carousel before our luggage. Breezed through customs. Went to the lounge. had a cold towel to freshen with, couple of cold beers, a nice bathroom to clean up in and then our taxi was at the curb ready for us. Well worth the dollars to not have to wait in that longggggggg line.
Departure was nice once you checked your luggage. In Dec there was a ling line for customs but we were fast tracked through that and in the lounge in no time. Definitely worth it for us

On departure, why do people get to the airport with hours to wait?
I would rather do my waiting on the beach.
