Customs import question
Heading to Negril with 150+ prepackaged toothbrushes in all sizes infant to adult. 40+ tubes of paste and 30+ packs of floss. They will be packed in a checked bag with a bunch of other misc. give away ****. <---rhymes with pit (love the auto censorship) We'll be using Club MoBay VIP on arrival. What should I expect and how should I claim them on my customs form?? I'm planning on dropping them off to St. Anthony's.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Customs import question
I've brought many things in past trips. I claimed a food processor that I was bringing to St. Anthony's the last time and had to go to the second station to get my bags checked. The girl pretty much said if it's not for profit they don't care and then asked me a couple questions about features on the food processor. Told me to have a great stay and enjoy her country. I haven't declared anything since then. I'm bringing 40 pairs of socks and a bunch of kitchen towels for the kitchen next week. I also lable St. Anthony's soup kitchen on every thing (bags) with a sharpie. If you are using Club Mobay there just going to rush you through each point of the process and get you to your driver.

Don't say anything unless your asked. Never had a problem.

Re: Customs import question
my experience, using the VIP service and not declaring anything I have zipped right through; being honest (non-VIP) had me sent to "the tables", didn't have to pay anything, just an extra hour standing in the heat while they went though my bags.

Re: Customs import question
I get tooth brushes and paste from my dentist and simply pack them. It never even dawned on me to declare them. I gave mine to Fr Jim too.
