Is this Ella from Ella Lane?
Yes. She lived right there and I know for sure her oldest Son Leon with Cyril Hinds was born right where No Limit sits. She owned the land where Miss Millie's and Cool Brown's is on the front and then the land that is on both sides of Ella Lane going quite a ways up. As she got older she divided it up among Family. Although many thought she was poor she was land rich and also had a piece of property on the beach down by the Craft Market. They put another one of her Son's Fitzroy in jail and she signed that piece over for his freedom. That land is now under water. And that is Karma. She worked hard all of her life just to pay the taxes on her land. Her daughter Miss Millie is still there and has never ventured far from where she was born.

Rest in peace -- original "NAYGRIL" family. My first trip to Negril was in 1972, so I knew many of the original landowners/fishermen. And of course this family had a great presence in the town.
