    16 th Birthday:)

We are staying at the CocoLaPalm next week! My son turns 16 while we are there! Any ideas to help us celebrate?

As for things that the hotel can help set up, contact Kerieanne at CoCo and she can give you some great ideas. Several years ago for my birthday we had a "birthday party" with cake and also the band "got involved" during the Manager's Party. She may have a few other ideas as well. She is a real sweatheart. Good luck.

Thank you so much! I love all the suggestions! I will talk with Kerianne at Coco! Just being in Jamaica will be amazing but a few special touches will help make it more special

We only have two sleeps left in the Arctic (Northern Wisconsin)!

Negril, the beach and Red Stripe can't come fast enough. This board has been an escape for me! You are all my idols.... Love your passion and common love for this beautiful place and the wonderful people who live there. This is my family's favorite destination. My daughter is twelve... This is her third time in Negril I am raising future boardies!

A 16 year old might like a visit to Rick's Cafe on the cliffs.

    Everyone should do it once!

Get there before the sunset rush.

I can think of a few things a young man turning 16 in negril might like to do......none of them his mother would want to know though

LMAO Was thinking it. Didn't want to be the first to say it though! LOL

If my parents had let me loose in Jamaica on my 16th birthday it would still be bragged (and maybe even exaggerated. lol ) about today, almost 30 years later! LOL

Everyone out there find someplace quiet, sit back, close eyes and imagine what it would be like to be in Negril at 16 !
    OHH to be young again!!!!

Ok for real this time, parasailing is a very cool experience that can be easily done at the beach,a snorkel trip with famous Vincent would also be very memorable, take him for breakfast at xtabi and do some cliff jumping and cliff exploring also snorkeling right around xtabi is pretty sweet! Turning 16 in jamaica alone is something I doubt he'll ever forget! Have fun be safe, soon come

Kali, I am with you on this. Late summer I will be there with my final daughter for her 18th birthday. We are not staying in Negril itself however but we will be jumping at Ricks and filming it from a catamaran the morning of her birthday itself. She did her Senior pictures jumping in a river from a rope swing with her prom dress on so i am sure we will have some fun outfit. I take my kids internationally for all their last 3 birthdays at home so she has already done dolphins and parasailing but otherwise those are things I would do. We are also going out to YS falls as that is one of my favorite destinations.
