Re: Fun Holiday beach resort
Hi Steve, I cannot answer your question specifically as I have never been to Jamaica either. However I am staying on the west end cliffs and my hotel has a sister resort on 7 mile (Negril) beach that we can use. I think you will have no problem being a beach bum but if so you can hook up with me and my buddy to go to the beach. I will be in Negril from March 20th-24th.

Re: Fun Holiday beach resort
Almost all properties on the beach will appreciate your business and you can use their chairs, etc. as long as you are buying drinks or food.

Re: Fun Holiday beach resort
Lots of french Canadians stayed at Sea Wind when we were there, which is walking distance from Fun Holiday. Just walk to the beach and hang a right towards the all-inclusives. They have a good beach, bar, and restaurant. Their restaurant is called Sherita's.

Re: Fun Holiday beach resort
I stayed at Fun Holiday a month ago. We did not do the all-inclusive so I can't really comment on that. I loved it and will definitely go back there my next reach. Tell them way ahead of time if you want a fridge. We didn't get one...oh well. Safe is small ($4.00/day)so won't fit a lap top but fits money, passports, ipads and such. We stayed on the 'old' side so we didn't have to battle the sun on our balcony. It was tough to get a lounge chair in that perfect spot on the beach so we just sat next door at the Aqua bar and drank their beer. We were used to staying in cabins at Jah B's the last several vacations so Fun Holiday was a big step up for us....but there are those out there that don't like it.....

Re: Fun Holiday beach resort
I don't think any of the AI properties will let you use anything without a day pass. That would include Hedo. Also the beach at Bloody bay (Nude) only one I am aware of is Couples (AI) or at Point village (Private owned). Anyone disagree with this being accurate?
Still plenty of places to go to swim. Sun Beach, Fire Fly (nude beach) BBQ Barn, Long list

Re: Fun Holiday beach resort
The beach around the Cosmos' area used to be the "Nude Beach" not many used it , you can still get naked there but Hedo will only allow you to walk by at waters edge and I might add: a long walk from Fun Holiday. The swim up bar at Fun is at waters edge so drinking and people watching is pleasurable. You'll be close to the middle of the beach, you'll have plenty of walking options, turn left to Yellow Bird for frozen drink specials, right to Boat Bar Fri free music 1pm? White Sands daily drink specials, and Fire Fly small nude on property but Maxine the bartender is an excellent host, cold cheap Red Stripe!

Re: Fun Holiday beach resort
Are non-guests allowed to use the pool and swim up bar at Fun Holiday? We had the lunch buffet there one day and it seemed like a pretty fun place to hang out at.
