I have an IPhone S and am going to give it to a friend in JA. My question is what needs to be done on my end for her to set it up for her use there. Soon come!

Yeah. What Bluez said. Check with your provider about having it unlocked.

You're then going to need your friend to get a digicel card and have it cut down to size to fit the iphone. I did it with scissors.

Other than that, that's it.

Digicel has all three sim sizes. Mini, Micro and Nano
