    St. Anthony's

Will be in Negril the week of March 23rd. Would really love to go here with my family to volunteer. How do I set that up?

Dear Buddyismybud, we would be very happy to have you volunteer at St. Anthony's Kitchen. There is the morning shift with the kids. Ms. Pearl and crew open up about 5:30 a.m. They start breakfast around 6:30 and kids come by 7:00 .m. You can help with that. Or come around 7 to help serve the kids and be with them. One bus load heads to school at 7:30. Other kids are around until about 8 a.m. On Mondays the ladies do their chopping, slicing and dicing for the whole week. You can join that party until about 10 a.m. The other option is to show up at the Kitchen around 11:00 a.m. and help with lunch. By 1:00 p.m. things are pretty well done. Typically Wednesday and Friday are slow volunteer days but any day works. Just show up and introduce yourselves. Ms. Pearl will take it from there. Thanks! --Fadder Jim

I don't know that we will go on the 24th. That will be our first morning there and we have a long travel day on the 23. Are you at travellers?

Sounds good. I'll be arriving late afternoon on the 23rd. Me, the wife, and our two girls. Look forward to meeting you
