I would say at least half the tourists who stay at Seastar Inn are from Canada, partly because Chris Tomney is originally from Winnipeg.
I love Canadians, though it's too bad they can't keep up with Californians drink for drink at the bar -- ha ha, just kiddin'.
I think a BIG reason they love Jamaica is the direct flights. You can't do that from Los Angeles, and it's a pain to suffer through layovers every trip. There are only a handful of US cities that fly directly to Montego Bay, and that's why a lot of tourists instead go to Hawaii or Mexico.





The direct flights help, but we can also fly direct to Mexico, DR and Cuba and that's just from our little airport. We might pay more than Americans for our flights, but we seem to have a lot more direct flights to choose from...
