I see you're from the QT. I know a girl who works at Caseys place. Though I've never been.

    Re: Medication Question

As others have mentioned you should only bring the meds in their original labeled prescription containers. Also, it can be helpful to bring a doctor's note on letterhead just stating that the meds are for your own use. We travel quite often as a family, and, as of last year, we have needed to pack numerous medications for one of our children. We have been questioned several times, (not just in Jamaica), specifically because of the amount of medication, that some are in liquid form, some injectables, as well as some of them are narcotic pain relievers. The doctor's note has always helped to clarify why we need to carry so much with us.

Never, never pack your medications in your checked bags! Always carry them on you, in case of lost or delayed luggage. If any of your meds need to be refrigerated, call ahead and make sure your hotel has a fridge in your room. Also, you can use frozen gel packs on the plane to keep the meds cool without any TSA problems, as long as the packs are frozen solid.

    Have a wonderful trip!!! :-)

    Re: Medication Question

I have 3 prescription meds I take & several over the counter meds. I take my meds in 2 sessions each day so I have a large 7-day 4-portions drug container I put mine in. I do NOT take original bottles because they are large bottles nor have I ever been questioned on meds I bring in. Only use carry-on for your med so they do not get lost or stolen. Do NOT list on Customs form that you are bringing in Medicines, that question refers to medical professionals bringing in samples etc. & not to tourists bringing in personal use medications. Enjoy & relax, no problems in JA...

I bring mine in original bottles in carry-on. A few years back, I traveled to Ja shortly after I had surgery and didn't have any problem bringing in a narcotic pain reliever.
