Food reminds me of cafeteria.
We were directed to the room behind the hammock in the above pic. It helped us determine that we would not return. Room was very damp and dark and full of mosquitoes. Once we complained about bugs the Staff did come and spray which was helpful for a time although by this time my partner was covered in welts. Had originally requested a different room however upon arrival this was what we were given and although we tried to negotiate a move to another room this fell on deaf ears. I do know that some rooms/cottages offer a more desirable stay as my son stayed in a cottage several years ago and it was enjoyable for the monies paid.
Pool and grounds were fine.
I have been to Ja more than 100 times but this is the only location that has now been crossed off of my list of future possibilities. From my experience Samsara does not offer the same relaxed Jamaican vibe from Staff as most other options. I would suggest that you get what you pay for...barely...as this is one of the low cost/low end choices.
