    Question Medication Question

Has anyone any advice or comments on bringing necessary medication with me to JA? 1st time traveling internationally. I am a liver transplant patient and take anti rejection medicine along with some others including some narcotic pain medicine. Any suggestions?

bring it in the original bottles, making sure that your name /address / drug name etc is on the label..Do not dump it all into one bottle to save space. Make sure you check to see if any of them cause sun sensitivity (ask the Pharmacist).

Just make surer it is in original containers and in your carry-on. I brought quite a bit because of heart issues but only question asked was if it was all my own.

We also bring a list with us and had our doctor stamp the list, also make sure they are in the bottles they came in. Never a problem.

I always keep my son's heart medication in two different places/bags when we travel. That way if something happens and one gets lost I will have a back up.

I always keep mine in my personal carry on as it is the one bag I know nothing will happen to. Sometimes to save space I have combined what I need into one container but always just carry in actual pharmacist prescription bottles and have never even been asked about them.
