Different strains will do it also. There are two main families that make up what we call cannabis, Sativa (long thin leaves, big tall plant mostly south African origin Durban Poison, diesel, purples ) will give you a up feeling. Indicas (short fat leaves, short dense plants mostly east Asia, Himalayas origin ex. Kush) will give you a mellow feeling. Suck you into the couch type stuff. Some use sativa in the day and indica in the evening. Each of these have many strains and most common these days are hybrid sative/indicas. There are literally 1000's of these strains that have been cross bred and stabilized into legitimate strains. Jenny's probably uses a cross that is more indica than sativa.. A lot of popular strains today are 80/20 sativa/indica (Prefered by your neighborhood teenager and me!) LOL
