While this is coming to you under the name of St. Anthony's Kitchen this thread is from Mary Gate of Heaven Church (which sponsors St. Anthony's Kitchen). Next Sunday, April 6, we have our Annual Harvest--our big fund raiser for the year. It begins with Mass at 10:00 a.m. in which we give thanks for the abundance of gifts from Mother Earth. After Mass we sell donated items; vegetables and pastries. We have a Jumble Sale (a kind of garage sale)! Dinner is served at a cost of $350 (that would be JMD, of course) and is prepared by Ms. Pearl et al, our St. Anthony's Kitchen cook. We have various raffles and prizes and auction off some gifts given by resorts--like day passes and dinners. It's a good time, a worthy cause and ends by 2:00 p.m.
