After seeing what they have in store for the new Firefly, it was a simple decision to bring the 16th Annual Negril.com Boardie Bash to the location of our very first sponsor hotel. It was back in 1996 that Firefly took a chance on an interesting new opportunity and become a hotel sponsor on Negril.com.

This year we are pleased to return the favour and give the new Firefly the opportunity to host this year's annual event on Friday, April 25th, 2014!

The entire lineup of events will be posted shortly - but we wanted to let everyone know where this year's Bash will be held! And yes, the clothing optional aspect of the old Firefly will change - that will no longer be allowed. The new Firefly will be much more family oriented, so all are welcome.

That is great news about Andrea buying Firefly!

It is the first place I stayed in Negril back in '83 and I have fond memories as it was the favorite place we stayed anointed by my wife who passed away shortly after we returned to California.

Andrea is an old and dear friend. I used to stay at Whistling Bird with comps from Jim. Andrea and her husband would give me a ride to Sheffield when I moved there as she was a neighbor.

I will be missing the Bash as I won't be returning until October. Please give my best to Andrea and Opia. I will stop by on my next trip.
