Red Stripe Question

When you buy a case of Red Stripe it often comes in the red Red Stripe plastic crate. On most trips the place I stay at returns it. This last reach I was wanting to take it home, but didn't exactly know who owned it. Being an honest person that didn't want to have any issues with exit immigration I left it behind again. When I got home I emailed Red Stripe customer service about buying one. The response I got back was that I should just bring it back to the USA from Jamaica next time I visit because they don't have promotional crates for sale. Has anyone taken the 24 bottle red plastic crate home from Jamaica?

Just bring a cardboard box about the same side box it up and tape it.

We stuck one in our big suit case and brought it home, its now a display case in our bar!

Back in the day when that type of thing was allowed, once my carry-on was a brewery fresh case of 24 Red Stripe in the returnable waxed cardboard box, with the fold open lid. Can't do that any more
