    jar77,

    Depends...

    1) How big is your group?
    2) Did everyone have a GREAT time?
    3) How helpful were the guides throughout the tour? Where they VERY Helpful on where to walk, jump in, enjoy the washing machine or cave? Pointing out flora and fauna?
    4) Did they use your camera to take pictures?

I recommend on checking the water level in the river before you book an go, too high or low and the experience could be impacted.

    Enjoy,

The few times I have been, we had a terrific time and ended up tipping each guide US$20.

    Jar77,

I would recommend using the coconut telegraph to determine the water level at Mayfield Falls.

Ask around, hopefully someone has been there the same week you are there and will give you an idea. If you are scheduling a trip with a driver ask them if they know or can find out. Generally speaking if it has been very wet recently then it could be high water and if it has been very dry then it could be low water.

I was thinking more along the line on smoke signals but a coconut telgraph works too.

I would check with the tour drivers that bring people there daily...they would know if conditions are not ideal
